Scholarships & Bursaries

Accredited, Registered & Trusted By:

The IWS Academy Scholarship Framework

Scholarships at IWS are not promotional incentives. They are formal distinctions awarded to students who embody either exceptional achievement or meaningful contribution.

All scholarships apply exclusively to the IWS Academy pathway. They are designed to recognise commitment to active participation within our academic community.

Awards are granted by the IWS Admissions Committee following structured review.

All awards are merit-based fee reductions of up to 50% for eligible students.

Two Pillars of Recognition

Our scholarship programme is organised under two defined pillars.
Pillar A:

Global Resilience & Inclusion

This pillar recognises students whose circumstances or contributions reflect the “heart” of the school community.

Categories include:
Refugee & Displacement Support
Special Educational Needs (SEN) with strong academic potential
Children of Public Service professionals (Healthcare, Education, First Responders)
Means-tested Financial Equity Bursaries
Sibling Loyalty awards
These awards ensure that capable students are supported with dignity while maintaining academic standards.
Pillar B:

Excellence & Talent

This pillar recognises students who represent the academic and cultural “peak” of the Academy.

Categories include:
Academic Excellence (Top 5% performance or equivalent international grading)
STEM & Innovation distinction
Talent & Performance (Sports, Arts, Music)
Recipients under this pillar are expected to contribute actively to the intellectual and cultural life of the Academy.

Award Structure

Scholarships are awarded at defined levels, based on portfolio strength and committee evaluation.
