Learning in Practice

Students experience learning at IWS in different ways. Below are reflections from Lower Secondary students.
A Globally Mobile Student
My family moves countries often, so I’ve had to adapt to new schools many times. At IWS we’re encouraged to share ideas and challenge each other’s thinking.
- Lower Secondary Student
A Student Pursuing a Passion
I train in swimming most afternoons, so I needed a school where I could manage both training and studying seriously. What I like about IWS is that teachers don’t just give answers - they expect us to think through problems and reasoning.
- Lower Secondary Student
A Student Developing Confidence and Voice
At my previous school I mostly listened and took notes. At IWS we’re expected to participate and share ideas. At first that felt uncomfortable, but now I actually look forward to discussions in class.
