Most subjects follow the Cambridge International A Level curriculum. Physics, Biology and Chemistry are offered through Pearson Edexcel A Levels, another internationally recognised qualification accepted by universities worldwide.

Learning in Practice

Students experience learning at IWS in different ways.
A Future Economist
I chose Economics, Maths and Business because I want to study finance at university. Our lessons are very discussion-based, teachers expect us to analyse ideas and defend our arguments.
-  A Level Student
A Globally Mobile Student
My family moves countries often, so I needed a school that could travel with me without compromising academic standards. At IWS I can continue serious academic study while planning my university applications.
-  A Level Student
Developing Independent Thinking
At IWS teachers don’t simply explain everything. We’re expected to research topics, form our own views and challenge ideas in discussions. It has made me much more confident in how I think and communicate.
