A Truly Global School Community
At IWS, student life goes beyond the screen. Our learners join from all over the world, bringing diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences into every lesson. This creates a vibrant international school community where students connect daily, collaborate across borders, and build meaningful friendships.
Despite being an online school, the sense of belonging is strong. Students interact in lessons, group work, and informal chats, making the experience both personal and engaging. It’s a place where learners feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger.

Interactive Online Learning
Lessons at IWS are designed to be engaging, interactive, and student-focused. Teachers use a variety of tools and strategies to ensure that learning is not passive but participatory.
Students collaborate on activities, contribute ideas, and work together in real time. Many learners highlight how this approach helps them better understand content, stay motivated, and enjoy the process of learning. The focus is continuously on making lessons more accessible, more dynamic, and more meaningful.

Clubs and Extracurricular Opportunities
Learning continues beyond the classroom through a growing range of clubs and extracurricular activities. Students can join sessions such as Debate Club, Book Club, Graphic Design Club, and Arts and Crafts.
These clubs provide opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers in a relaxed environment. Whether it’s debating global issues or creating visual designs, students are encouraged to express themselves and grow creatively.
Student Support and Academic Growth
IWS places strong emphasis on supporting every learner’s academic journey. Students have access to additional support sessions, including revision and extension classes led by subject specialists.
These sessions help reinforce understanding, build confidence, and provide targeted guidance where needed. Teachers are approachable and committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and capable of success.

Houses and Friendly Competition
Students are grouped into House Teams, creating a sense of identity and friendly competition within the school. Houses will participate in challenges and activities designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, and school spirit.
Our aim is to help students connect with peers beyond their classes while building collaboration and leadership skills. It’s a fun and engaging way to strengthen the community and global citizens.
Assemblies and School Events
Assemblies and whole-school events play an important role in bringing the IWS community together. These moments celebrate achievements, share updates, and create shared experiences for students and staff.
We aim to have events such as themed days and global celebrations which will allow our students to participate in something collective, even in an online environment. They help build a strong sense of unity and school culture.
